It’s been a fantastic year so far for Pensionlite. Not only have we added to our team with more experienced advisers and paraplanners but we have raised nearly £7,000 for charity.
All year our 12 months of charity campaign has seen us take on various physical challenges and events, including a 24-hour indoor rowathon, riding across Britain from Whitehaven to Newcastle and a hike across the picturesque Long Mynd.
For the final few months of 2019, we will be carrying a nine-foot duck up The Wrekin, venturing into the Shropshire wilderness for an overnight expedition, taking part in a mud run and finishing the year walking along part of Hadrian’s Wall.
The massive charity drive is in memory of former company founder Andy Hawthorne. Andy had a huge sense of community spirit and was always involved with charity initiatives, so this year is a fitting tribute to him – we’re sure he would be very proud.
If you would like to volunteer or take part in any of the remaining challenges you can get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can visit our charity website where you can make a donation – www.12monthsorcharity.co.uk
